Ocean Park 2011 Halloween – 4D animation

3D Nightmare is a 3D animation which play in CAVE 0.5. CAVE 0.5 is a variant of the original CAVE™ stereoscopic projection environment. Viewer can experience that they are place in a 3D environment. In the animation, the viewer will place in different Hong Kong location and there are many scare items which will come out from the screen and move around the viewer.
2011年海洋公園的哈囉喂活動今年與香港城市大學創意媒體學院合作，推出 3D 鬼屋，利用科技把另一種的驚嚇體驗帶給參與者。

CAVE 0.5*
CAVE 0.5 is a variant of the original CAVETM stereoscopic projection environment. It has two 3 x 5 meter projection screens, one of which is lying on the floor projected onto from above, while the other is adjacent and standing vertically, projected on from behind. Two active 3D projections are used, and viewers standing on the screen flow view the images through LCD shutter glasses. CAVE 0.5’s immersive projection architecture gives viewers a strong sense of data inhabitation and embodiment.
